Welkommen our name Upjeet Singh Brar and Sikander Singh Thakur and our breeding kennel name is VON CARNIVOUS. We are located in Chandigarh, INDIA. We have been involved with the breed since 1995 when we bought my first Rottweiler pair import from AUSTRALIA sired by famous AUST CH. ROCKDALE STAR LORD PRINCE, a hard old style working dog. We have been breeding Rottweilers for almost 5 years now from some of the finest German and Yugoslavian (Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia) bloodlines available. Our aim is to preserve the old style Rottweiler temperament, strong working drive, courage, stability and guarding instinct at the same time aiming to breed dogs with correct conformation, strong bones, strong head, soundness and health.

We import high quality dogs from Germany and other European countries to improve our breeding programme and offer a diversity of bloodlines, some more work orientated others more show orientated so that we can achieve a balance striving to breed the COMPLETE ROTTWEILER and preserve our breed.

The Breed Standard

We breed according to the current ADRK, VDH & FCI Breed standard. This is the official standard that is recognized throughout the world. INDIA is one of the major countries that does not abide by the FCI Standard for Rottweilers but follow more AKC and CKC standards (link for standard: www.adrk.de )

The current FCI standard mandates a natural tail. Since we show our dogs we must have natural tails in order to compete. None of the INDIAN breeders chooses to leave natural tails in compliance with the ADRK and FCI Standard.

We have found that our puppies with natural tails begin walking sooner, open their eyes earlier and have much better balance than their docked counterparts.
