Natasha is a young woman of 24, she is a mother of 4-year-old lovely boy. The mother who is ill with a serious disease. This disease is late discovered heart valvular disease. It was revealed when Natasha was pregnant. The birth of her son caused the disease to get worse; as a result, she developed one more serious disease…
Since the beginning of the year Natasha has been having her health conditions got worse. On 10 April, the young woman got to hospital right from a cardiologic ward, where she had had her heart examined. On making a decision to urgently operate her because of her heart disease, they delivered her to the Institute named after N.Sclifosovsky. However, as the surgeons of the institute had no special surgical equipment and because of complications of the disease, they refused to operate her and sent her to have additional examination at the Institute named after A.Bakulev, where, as they thought, she would probably have her heart operated. The specialists of that Institute came to the conclusion that they could not do a surgical operation because of sclerotic hypertension, which had been revealed by the examination. Natasha has acquired secondary pulmonary hypertension and now high pressure in pulmonary artery makes her heart work harder. The examination brought to light her having secondary ventricular septal defect, secondary atrial septal defect, circulation insufficiency of the second circulatory system.
Moscow Chief Pulmonologists's advice to Natasha’s mama was not to give in and look for the chance of doing transplantation of the complex “heart-lungs” for Natasha.
Perfidious and unpredictable behavior of pulmonary hypertension puts a human body in dangerous conditions.
Natasha has a chance, and there is still time, though not much time, to use this chance, however, time in such conditions is most valuable thing.
First of all she needs special physical examination at a specialized clinic, as well as to have to type disease and then we have to find a donor.
In no time, various clinics of Germany and France, and probably, those in Israel and Italy, will receive Natasha’s medical report. On receiving experts’ conclusion, it will become clear what kind of transplantation Natasha requires, will it be lungs or complex “heart-lungs” transplantation.
The cost of the transplantation is 150 000 - 300 000 Euro depending on its kind (approximately 190.000-395.000 dollars USD). If we can raise this money for operation then, our daughter will live... If we can find money then Natasha will live... We very much would like not to waste time, not to start illness to a terminal stage, very much it would be desirable to salvage to the small son his mother … And we ask you to help us. Please...
