At ABC Childcare Service we believe the key to a successful care service lies in forging a close partnership between home and nursery.

Our aim is to provide high quality childcare in a stimulating, safe and secure environment in which each child can be helped to achieve its full potential in all areas of development. We also follow and adhere to all childcare standard policies including Health and Safety to ensure the highest possible care is achieved at all times. Here you will find a nurturing, educational environment for newborn children to pre-school age. We care for toddlers, preschoolers, and after-school children. Baby sitting service is also offered.

We recognise that each child has unique talents, learning styles and personalities. Our highly-qualified carers and staff are committed to working within each child's comfort zone to ensure optimal social, emotional and educational results.

To help us maintain the “family” atmosphere within our nursery we have trained ourselves with utmost care and professionalism. We pride ourselves that we demonstrate a real interest in caring for children.

It is this commitment to the “whole child” that shines through all our children’s activities. It is our way towards giving your child a well – balanced, constructive day, consisting of play, learning and utmost care.

At ABC Childcare Service we believe in making the transition from home to nursery an easy one.

Dossiers for arts and craft are kept for each child so you know exactly what they have been doing throughout their time with us.

OUR FACILITIES.

ABC Childcare Service nursery is purpose built to the highest specification, to provide the safest and most secure environment possible.

The nursery is clean and bright, with color schemes to stimulate young children and promote learning through colors.

Being a home based Service the child will have access to high standard sanitary facilities, child ratios are maintained.

The safety of the children is our paramount concern. Some of our many safety features incorporated into the nursery at ABC Childcare services are listed below:-

• Safety windows made of unbreakable FGP.
• Window only opens on the upper part.
• Impact proof flooring and walls.
• No plugs in children’s area.
• Six foot fencing surrounding outside play area.
• Gate control to warming area.

Other features are:-

• Mirrors for dressing up and role play activities.
• Area for meal times and for craft activities.
• Audio & visual facilities for educational & fitness activities.
• Warming area.
• Play and dance area.
• The premises may be turned into a quiet area & soft area.

STAFF.

Children are cared for by professionally trained, specialist nursery staff who apart from being qualified have a wealth of experience. There may be instances where alongside, other staff may be undergoing training. We adhere to National Standards for Child Day Care Facilities.

Staff hold qualifications in Good practice in Child care and Education Diploma, First Aid, Food handling and have trained overseas too. We endeavor to keep our skills up to date by attending relevant training in aspects of childcare

We aim to bring the loving care and guidance of home life into the nursery, thus catering for the growth and overall development of each individual child.

"Caring for the“whole child”

As soon as you walk in our door, you will feel the active happy buzz of children, promoting a positive self-image. All babies and children are naturally self curious and want to learn; therefore, everything they do is a learning experience. We help this along with carefully chosen activities to encourage the physical, intellectual, social and emotional progress of each individual.

This complete nurturing of the children’s growth and development we call the “ Whole Child “. It is our fulcrum on which we tailor our skills and activities towards giving each child a well – balanced constructive day.

"Where Education Meets Imagination"

We provide BABIES with a mix of organized play, encouraging curiosity and interest, thus stimulating the desire to learn and find out more. We nurture their awareness and encourage social skills.

As they develop to the TODDLER age, the children learn to share and enjoy listening to stories and music; they are involved in lots of creative activities, books and toys. We also help potty training at this stage with liaison from home.

At PRE-SCHOOL stage, children follow a timetable based on Early Learning Goals.

Other services such as after school care and baby sitting are available by prior agreement.
