In 1998, Guitar Hall revolutionized contemporary music education in India with the first full-time program to offer hands-on professional training for the guitarist. Over a decade later, Guitar Hall remains the leader in guitar education with a unique system that combines technical, creative and professional development in a performance-based program.
Guitar Hall offers individual music lessons over a variety of programs. At Guitar Hall, we teach music theory by employing both traditional and innovative techniques to help learners develop their music skills. Individual music lessons are just a part of our comprehensive music program. Playing in a band and participating in jam sessions are also key components of our curriculum and music program. Our curriculum in guitar program includes classes in both theory and practice.
In Guitar Hall, students learn how to play their instrument in a stimulating team-based environment. The healthy camaraderie and competition that results motivates students to practice and improve quickly. Students receive a combination of individualized attention and direction including mentoring from some of the finest professional musicians in India. This approach leads to well-rounded musicianship, and prepares students to perform in a variety of genres.
On an individual level, students will develop proficiency on their instrument in a variety of areas including technique, music theory, and learning to read musical notes and symbols. Each class will have a creative component. Students will experiment in composition and improvisation as well as learning song form. Teachers at Guitar Hall use special age and skill appropriate arrangements so that students would be engaged in a custom made program depending on their present knowledge. Students are motivated to learn when they see early results and have an exciting, achievable goal. Our vision is to become the preeminent brand of community-based, state-of-the-art music centers using a unique curriculum and team based approach to instill a lifelong engagement with music performance and composition in students of all ages and abilities.
