    Description:
Nested in the middle of the Calchaquies valleys, at the feet of the Andes, in the colourful region of the North-West Argentinian, our hotel (500m2 approximately) is built upon a half hectare (5500m2, 60000 square feet, with 50m edging of torrent) on the heights of the village of CAFAYATE, 5 mn by car, 10 walking or riding horse from the colonial center. Each room offers an unique sight (it is in fact the only hotel of the surroundings which enjoys such a panorama) of the village, the valley and the mountains which each evening wear exceptional colors.
The hotel is built (up to 70%) in the style of the area, with local materials, in order to respect the “feng-shui”, the environment, the village economy, as well as the memory of the Diaguites Indians, who occupied this ground during hundreds of years (there are many ruins and bits of pottery in the area), until the Inca invasion circa 1530, then the Spanish one, only a few decades later.
We chose it this place because of its proximity with Brazil ( Iguazu falls), Bolivia (Titicaca) and Chile (salt lake of Uyuni). It is an area which remained authentic, the european colonization having preferred the large fertile grounds of the South and the East. It is thus populated with many quiet Indians, but also withGauchos and many tourists. One can enjoy there all the benefits of civilization, cybers-cafes and supermarkets, hospitals and transport. One of the assets of this area, whose capital is Salta “the beautiful one”, is the diversity of landscapes. Mountains of almost 7000 m, fertile valleys sprinkled with high poplars and giant willows, lined with vineyards,(many bodégas, excellent wines) and surrealist deserts strewn with cactus, silver plated lakes and torrents, the whole strewn with colonial villages ! The dry climate of this area is very healthy, and the temperature is perfect, soft and tepid, with a permanent breeze, not too cold in winter (July-August) and not too hot in summer, the air is exceptionally pure there, especially towards the heights.
Cafayate is in all the guides, and February, January, April, July and August are often full, especially during the seranata, festival of traditional music known in all Argentina.
Cafayate became sought after of course for its beauty, but also because, being the preferred village of the governor, lots of money were invested there for infrastructures, safety, and architectural restoration. A country-club for 300 millionaires (vineyards, golf and polo) was built there, and the Richard Gerer is among the happy owners.

Because of the departure of a partner, we sell the whole (see photographs) for 190.000 euros, or 50% of the shares for 100.000, or not less than 20%, for 20.000 euros. The foreigners have the right to own and to exploit real estate in Argentina and the tax system is rather flexible.
